On April 5, celebrate Easter at Café Boulud, where a festive, family-friendly buffet will be offered from 11am till 3pm. Two Easter egg hunts will take place in the courtyard; the first at noon for children five and under, and at 12:30 pm, children ages 6 through 12 will gather for a hunt. Chef Rick Mace will offer mouthwatering buffet selections including House-made Palmetto Creek Farms Ham, and Herb and Mustard-crusted Roast Leg of Spring Lamb. Pastry Chef Eric Snow will create holiday-inspired desserts such as Carrot Crème Cheese Mousse, Raspberry Chocolate Sacher, Key Lime Pie, and more. The Easter Buffet, served from 11am until 3pm, is $95.00 per person, or $45.00 for children 10 and under. Beverage, tax and gratuity not included. Prefer to dine later in the day? An à la carte menu will be served from 5:30pm till 10pm.
Next Wine Dinner – Donkey and Goatthursday, april 16 - dinner starts at 7pm
Café Boulud’s Sommelier Mariya Kovacheva will be featuring, ‘The new Californian wine - Donkey and Goat.’ Donkey and Goat is the story of a couple, a dream, and an endeavor to make natural, balanced and transparent wines from an interesting and diverse range of California’s terroirs. After a stage at the Eric Texier’s winery in the Rhone Valley, Tracey and Jared Brandt came back to the US to start their own winery. Their philosophy since day one, has been to produce wines as naturally as possible and to express the essence of the sites that they work with. For that reason, they look for vineyards in cooler climate areas with unique, expressive soils that influence the resulting wines. The range of wines produced at Donkey and Goat is quite diverse. However, the core are Rhone varietals including Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, and a delicious Rousanne. Featured at the dinner will be a selection of the winery’s signature wines. Executive chef Rick Mace and Pastry chef Eric Snow will prepare a delectable four-course dinner menu to pair with the presented wines. Winemaker Jared Brandt will be the evening's special guest. Originally from Port Antonio, Jamaica her voice has taken her from Hong Kong to London, headlining for 5 Star hotels and venues across the globe. Raquel has called Palm Beach her home base and has built a enormous following featuring the best of the American Songbook, Diana Ross and Ella Fitzgerald, just to name a few.
