Starting Sunday May 31st, our NYC based restaurant DBGB is officially taking over Cafe Boulud! Chef Rick will be introducing more casual flavors to the menu, such as the famous Piggy and Frenchie burgers, as well as house made sausages like the Thai and Boudin Noir. Our head sommelier Mariya Kovacheva will pair local craft beers to pair with the cuisine.
On June 5th, Sommelière Mariya Kovacheva will present the first of the summer’s wine tasting events. This initial dinner will showcase the Wines of Corsica. Surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, Corsica is as close to France as it is to Italy, and Corsican wines fall somewhere between the herb-tinged, aromatic wines of Provence and the savory, earthier wines of Tuscany, explained Mariya. As most of these wines are consumed locally, only a small number of them ever leave the island. Thanks to adventurous importers such as Kermit Lynch, we can now consume these intriguing food-friendly wines here in Palm Beach. Featured at the dinner will be wines made from Corsica’s native grapes, Sciaccarellu, Nielluccio, and some international ones including Vermentino and Muscat. Executive chef Rick Mace will create a four-course pairing inspired menu showcasing Corsica’s native grapes, and some international ones. The special guest will be Anthony Pannone, President of Florida Wine Company. Reservations are required to the dinner, which begins at 7 pm and costs $85 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.
Raquel Williams brings an eclectic mix of American, Latin and Caribbean Songs. Her 4 octave range floats effortlessly from Joabim and Cole Porter, to Stevie Wonder and she credits Roberta Flack as her greatest influence. Originally from Port Antonio, Jamaica her voice has taken her from Hong Kong to London, headlining for 5 Star hotels and venues across the globe. Raquel has called Palm Beach her home base and has built a enormous following featuring the best of the American Songbook, Diana Ross and Ella Fitzgerald, just to name a few. Additionally, we will be offering small plates and featured specialty cocktails in our bar and lounge. We look forward to seeing you!
